With over a decade spent in architectural lighting design, Ms. Zinkon’s work reflects her passion for light as a medium. She is an Associate at Tec, currently serves as Director of Lighting Design and heads the Columbus branch office. She has been with the Cleveland, Ohio based firm for over four years. Prior to joining Tec, she served as an Associate Lighting Designer for an award winning design firm in Houston, Texas. Ms. Zinkon is an alumni of The Ohio State University, where she graduated Cum Laude, obtaining a degree in Theatre with an emphasis in Lighting Design. She is currently the section president of the IES Buckeye Section and has jured locally and regionally for the IES International Illumination Design Awards. Ms. Zinkon also serves on the IES Progress Committee which presents annually at the national conference and is an associate member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) where she serves on the Energy & Sustainability Committee. She has lectured at The Ohio State University and multiple IES sections as well as at the IES Midwest Regional Conference in 2008.
